Today I shot a new dress campaign for Sheffield brilliant vintage wedding dress designer Kate Beaumont (she’s the next Jenny Packham you know). This is just a preview with more pictures to come later in the year. You can see all of Kate’s dresses from todays shoot and April’s shoot on the launch of her new website and on Love My Dress, coming soon. Anyone interested in having a bespoke custom made dress by Kate can get in touch with her via krbeaumont@gmail.com.
Here’s links to the rest of my talented Sheffield wedding friends involved with this shoot campaign.

I’ll always remember when I met Lou to chat about her wedding which was to planned within 12 weeks. She sat in my lounge as she talked about how she never thought she would get married, and I noticed a tear as she visualised her son Reuben walking her down the isle on the day. I knew straight away that even though there wasn’t years of planning going into it, this was going to be great. Lou and Tom got ready together in their house in the morning, Reuben gave me a guided tour of every room they had in the house and then everyone set off to Sheffield Town Hall. Afterwards their small collection of family and friends moved on to The Mediterranean restaurant for dinner, then following a break back at their house the party continued at The Workstation in Sheffield city centre. It was a pleasure to be part of…

Here’s a peep at what’s to come from Helen and Sam’s wedding. Weddings at York Minster are super rare (you have to have a ‘connection’ to get married there), and its an honour to have shot in what is one of England’s most globally historic buildings. Following their York Minster ceremony we travelled outside of York for a reception party in a field, in a Yurt. I’ll write more when I do the full post in a few weeks, as this is just a preview. It was good times…
Shout outs to my 2010 couple Eleanor and Graeme, I.O.U. And Leeds wedding planner Helen Davies

Lottie and Pete headed over to Sheffield last week for an engagement shoot. After postponing it 3-4 times due to bad weather we just went for it……and it rained, and rained and rained! In fact it rained for every photo we made. I’ll always love making pictures around here, its a damn beautiful part of the country, but when it rains there is no shelter for photos so when we can’t postpone anymore you either make no photos or just have to go for it! I’ll be joining them in August for their wedding at Priory Cottages.

Here’s a preview of last weekends wedding down in Surrey at Langshott Manor. Trudy and Steve’s wedding was quite a late booking for me, and after meeting them I understood why. Both of them are fortunate to have been here on this day after both nearly losing their lives last year to injury and cancer. After they met they realised life is too short and within 1 year of meeting they were here on this day. It quickly became apparent how much they both appreciate life and it was an honour to shoot their wedding at Langshott.

Here’s a little preview peep at Louise and Tom’s wedding in Sheffield from this weekend, which included a cool 1950′s wedding car, some crazy tall random people/things outside the Town Hall on St George’s day, a dinner reception at The Mediterranean restaurant and an evening party at the Workstation. Quite unconventional and I totally loved it! Special thanks to Sheffield wedding styling supremo Jennie Beard. Flowers by my friends Swallows and Damsons.

This weekend after Saturdays wedding in Sheffield, I’ll be heading straight down to Henley-On-Thames in Oxfordshire for a wedding fair at the River and Rowing Museum on Sunday. I’m the first to admit that I’m not a huge fan of wedding fairs!! But I shot a wedding at the Museum back in 2011 and the lovely folks at the museum took a shine to the pictures I took and I’m chuffed that they asked me to be part of it even though I’m all the way up in the dizzy heights of Sheffield. I loved the museum, its a super cool venue, very quirky and certainly not a typical wedding venue. So if you’re based down in the South of England and fancy having a chat in person this Sunday about your wedding, then please do pop along to Henley-On-Thames (its also a lovely day out!)

ok so it’s not a Manolo Blahnik sex and the city wedding, it’s the wedding of Abby and James, but I have in fact dedicated the title to Abby’s wedding shoes. Little to my knowledge, it turns out these shoes are a big deal! Sources tell me, these shoes are the very ones which Carrie Bradshaw wears at her wedding in Sex and the City…..now that’s a shamefully girly opening paragraph, but due to the reaction from an abundance of ladies on Facebook, I simply had to mention this fact on the blog post!
So on with the show…
Abby and James tied the knot at Bradfield Church in my home area of S6 in Sheffield, followed by a party out at Losehill House in the Peak District. It was foggy out there, but a big improvement from the snow of previous weeks. I’m sure there won’t be much snow or fog out in the Maldives…

Spring is finally here no? Maybe, let’s hope as its so good to finally see some sunshine! This weekend I travelled down to Leighton Buzzard in Buckingham, for the wedding of Sophie and David. They tied the knot at All Saints Church in Hillesden followed by a party at the golf club. Here’s a few preview pictures from the day.

Alis and Dean are tying the knot in a few weeks at one of the UKs most amazing churches Wentworth Church. Before that happens we did a little engagement shoot in a few spots in Sheffield. The sun was out, but so was the wind…in full force!! Freezing. Come on summer, we’re ready for you…
