I think my favourite moment of shooting their wedding, was Abi thinking that her mum hadn’t shed a tear during the ceremony….well I always tell couples that I see everything, and below is the proof! Here’s a sneaky peak into what’s coming up for Abi & Steve’s super cool outdoor wedding at the Band Stand in Weston Park, Sheffield….

Emma & Andy are at the back of the backlog of weddings to be posted at the moment (August is wedding photography crazy!), so before they shoot off on honeymoon I had to post them the last click of the camera from their wedding yesterday. I think this is a perfect example as why as a wedding photographer you should be there at the end of the night of the biggest day in a couples life…..

Last weekend I took the 3 hour trip from Sheffield to Hertfordshire to shoot my first Jewish wedding for Katie & Steven. Held at the stunning Tewin Bury Farm, Jewish weddings are certainly not for the faint hearted photographer! But faint hearted I am not and I loved every minute of shooting this wedding. As an added bonus, by cousin Steve Street joined me to shoot along side me.

I love this shoot! I knew it would be cool. Emma and Vinny run a Yorkshire wedding planning service which many of my visitors may already be aware of The Wedding Daze. (They plan awesome weddings, but that’s a different subject. I’ll let their website do the talking).
Their wedding took place last month in Las Vegas and this was a party / reception for all their friends and family back home, held at Aston Hall in South Yorkshire…

On 1st May 2010 Nicola and I got married at Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland. Its peak wedding season, so it may have taken me 3 months to process our photos, but I think they are worth the wait!

Our reception was held and hosted by Jo and David at Budle Hall and we had a stunning Papakata marquee in the grounds. Nicola wore a Jenny Packham dress with Jimmy Choo shoes, and I wore a suit by Reiss. We had a BBQ provided by Delicous Occassions and flowers by Flowers and Foliage.

Now the question I got asked at nearly every client meeting prior to our wedding was “who is going to do your photos?”, well that answer to that is my brilliant cousin Steve Street in Surrey, UK…although I will confess that I couldn’t resist picking up the cam for a few of these shots (not any whilst we were getting married!)

Its not long now until I finally get round to finishing the processing of our own wedding photos from May 1st this year, so in anticipation of the main event I’ve posted a few shots from the day before our wedding in Bamburgh, Northumberland, including our awesome Papakata marquee being put in place at our reception venue, and our pre-wedding rehearsal at Bamburgh Castle

Earlier this month I photographed the wedding of Matt & Louisa at the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield and their reception at Firth Hall (The last time I was at that venue I was sitting an exam at University!). Louisa’s Father Michael, is actually the Ex-Mayor of Sheffield and Matt is from Australia, so it was a great mix of people for the day. Here’s a few images to share…
