Northumberland is a special place for me. The untouched coastline and beaches are like nowhere else that I’ve been to in the UK, and time away there feels like an actual break. Back in 2010 we chose it as the place to get married ourselves, so I’ve always enjoyed heading back to Northumberland for weddings.

Wild Boar wedding in the Lake District
Nicola and Ray married in the Lake District on a dark, wet and windy weekend in February. The rough weather didn’t dampen the party at The Wild Boar Inn in Windermere. The vintage wedding car couldn’t make it up the hill to the church, so we watched as one of the guests tried to get Nicola up the hill in the relentless rain.

Aimee and John planned a cool urban midweek wedding in Sheffield. They got hitched in Sheffield Town Hall, ate awesome food in Silversmiths and then held a party in Tamper Coffee
