37 weeks and counting

March 13, 2012We did this trip to tick two things off my bucket list, drive through the American desert in a Mustang, and have photos by the legend that is Jeff Newsom. It might seem nuts doing this given that Nicola is 29 weeks pregnant, but we booked this 2 days before finding out and I’m so glad it worked out that way, otherwise my bucket list would still be a bit longer. We spent time in Los Angeles, drove up the California coast to San Luis Obispo, made a bunch of wall art with Jeff, and then drove across the desert to Las Vegas. It was the coolest of experiences I must say. Now I’m ready for weddings every week through to October.

February 29, 2012I’m going to make it my mission this year to blog a few more personal images from travel. Last year we travelled around Thailand, a few images appeared on my blog, but so far I’ve never found the time to blog the images. Here is one looking over Bangkok at night, no tripod used, just steady hands! Its fair to say that Bangkok is on my wish list of places for a destination wedding

Electric Cinema Wedding in Birmingham

Whiteroom Bridal Photoshoot
September 26, 2011For several years now I’ve wanted to do a shoot where I live. Its an awesome place and when you get the right sunset, its killer to make images. At this shoot we only had a 15 minute window of sun, so literally 15 minutes later we had completed our shoot. None of the girls quite expected that to get to the location they were going to have to receive a fireman’s lift over my garden wall !
And finally, if you haven’t picked your dress yet and want to look awesome (guys can ignore that), then I pretty much recommend getting down to see Chloe at White Room Bridal Boutique. She stocks Jenny Packham, Stephanie Allin, Cymbeline, Claire Pettibone….
