we did some night shooting

Here’s a few reasons why I think Sam and Mike had an awesome wedding…
The got married in April and it almost snowed. The sun didn’t shine but nobody cared. I don’t know much about wedding dresses and stuff, but Sam had an awesome look right? I don’t know much about bridesmaids dresses, but these also look damn cool right? They had an ice cream VW camper van. Their guests got drunk on gin & tonic ice cream from the VW camper van. Their head table was called Lady and the Tramp. The Grand Parents kicked off the photo booth. I got to use a brand new camera..

Forgive me for posting some detail. I got carried away…
I simply had to use the light this week. There will be a part 2 next month! I want to do more of these shoots, so if you fancy one then please get in touch

yup, Scotland came to the Peak district for this December wedding at Losehill House. Thrilled to be heading up to Scotland this year for my first wedding up there…

Cheshire has some of the coolest quirky venues I’ve ever been too. My last visit prior to this was at the awesome Odd Fellows. A few weeks ago Mark & Joanne took me to The Belle Epoquein Knutsford, a small place with a big Mclaren showroom. Win win.

I like lifts

So here we are. The new blog is LIVE! Firstly my thanks go to Richard at Studio Mono for the awesome job designing it and giving me an identity. Andrew, one of my 2010 grooms who knows how to do marriage in style and build websites Andrew’s wedding. He is a talent.
This is my last blog post of 2011. 3 more weddings to go next week to see out an amazing year. My thanks go out to all the couples who invited me to tell their stories this year. Your enthusiasm makes everything I do seem worth it. I go into 2012 pretty much booked out for the year, your weddings got me there. Thank you.
My final and most important thank you. Nicola, my wife. The patience of a saint who hardly saw me this year and who next year will bring our first child into the world. You complete me.
Ibiza. If you told me 10 years ago that my first visit to Ibiza would have been as a wedding photographer, I simply would have thought you were crazy. 10 years ago I was an artist and house DJ who dreamt of a life travelling the world on the music scene. I had a promising future but chose to finish University instead. Turns out I was destined to do something in Ibiza.
