So here we are. The new blog is LIVE! Firstly my thanks go to Richard at Studio Mono for the awesome job designing it and giving me an identity. Andrew, one of my 2010 grooms who knows how to do marriage in style and build websites Andrew’s wedding. He is a talent.
This is my last blog post of 2011. 3 more weddings to go next week to see out an amazing year. My thanks go out to all the couples who invited me to tell their stories this year. Your enthusiasm makes everything I do seem worth it. I go into 2012 pretty much booked out for the year, your weddings got me there. Thank you.
My final and most important thank you. Nicola, my wife. The patience of a saint who hardly saw me this year and who next year will bring our first child into the world. You complete me.
Ibiza. If you told me 10 years ago that my first visit to Ibiza would have been as a wedding photographer, I simply would have thought you were crazy. 10 years ago I was an artist and house DJ who dreamt of a life travelling the world on the music scene. I had a promising future but chose to finish University instead. Turns out I was destined to do something in Ibiza.

Pretty cool to see Ibiza featured on Style Me Pretty today, the world’s biggest wedding blog. Special thanks to Boho Events the UK based wedding planner who specialises in planning weddings in Ibiza. I really hope I get to go back some day…

Its not long until my winter wedding season kicks off. Winter is a special time of year for weddings, I’m fortunate to get quite a few, 7 coming up this December for example. I’ve still got loads to blog, and I mean loads. For now here’s a whole bunch of things I’ve been upto..

How’s this for a cool wedding venue? The Electric Cinema in Birmingham is the UK’s oldest working cinema. You can either go there to watch a film and have alcohol served to your seat…..or get married there like Steph & Adam. More from this one to come on the blog in the coming weeks….

Alice in wonderland theme ! The Midland Manchester is such an awesome hotel and a grand event for a wedding.
A Special thanks goes to Si-tapas for taking little convincing at my request to make an image with their ultra cool mobile tapas pod

Church glouriousness on the blog for you. 3 wedding cars, Susie in an awesome Jenny Packham dress and yellow shoes to match. Their reception was held at a past family home on a farm. Love it

A gothic wedding at Sheffield’s most modern wedding venue (and one of my favourite UK wedding venues), the Millennium Galleries. And if you want to see what wedding photos in a multi-story car park look like………

Great place for a wedding right?

I hope another couple take me back to Ibiza. I really do
