New year. New blog. Jan 1st
The portfolio has been refreshed too…..

When kate & Adam told me about their wedding, they told me it would stripped back, they weren’t going crazy on the detail, it was all about the people. There’s something pretty special about how they did it and how their focus was on only those close to them. This was their day. Their story..

Followers of one of the UKs biggest & best wedding blogs ‘Love My Dress’ will have noticed Nina & Graeme adorning the pages this week.
Nina & Graeme on Love My Dress
Firstly I want to thank Annabel for her support of my work, its always pleasure to see my couples on her pages. I am a fan. Nina is a fan.
So where do I start with Nina & Graeme’s wedding? Wow is pretty much the first word I can think of. Shooting their wedding at Oakham Castle with their Papakata teepee at Exton Park was kind of a deja vu experience. They were married in a castle, I got married in a castle. Nina wore a Jenny Packham dress, Nicola wore a Jenny Packham dress. Graeme wore grey, I wore grey. They partied in a Papakata, I partied in a Papakata. They drove themselves away in a vintage sports car, I drove us away in a vintage sports car. All I can think is I was destined to shoot their wedding! Watching them get married definitely moved those hairs on the back of my neck. There’s no feeling like the feeling of seeing the person you love walk down that isle, to be with you, forever. I know that if Nina & Graeme’s mum’s were able to see them that day, they would be the proudest mum’s out there….

Followers of my blog might remember Anna & Tony. I took a bunch of photos with them in the sea

If you didn’t catch that shoot, you can see it on Rock My Wedding
Then the story continued on Rock My Wedding They got married n stuff
The wedding took place just down the road from me at Bradfield Church, then we ventured out into the Peak District to The Maynard. It rained. A lot. That didn’t stop us..

Its not long until my winter wedding season kicks off. Winter is a special time of year for weddings, I’m fortunate to get quite a few, 7 coming up this December for example. I’ve still got loads to blog, and I mean loads. For now here’s a whole bunch of things I’ve been upto..

….that’s me.

I had a Papakata wedding. A large part of me explodes when I shoot one. Check back in a few weeks for this one
Go HERE to book one. And please let me take photos of it ![]()

I love to travel for weddings, I tend to do a few destination weddings every year and Santorini is the first up this year. Most people don’t seem to know where it is, well I can tell you its in Greece! Paul from Roar Photography brought me out shoot his wedding at Suites of The Gods. Such an awesome location, such an awesome wedding. If you’re reading this, and liking this, and plan on getting married out in Greece or anywhere, then get in touch, I’d love to come….
