Alternative wedding venues Sheffield
99 Mary St
I shot the first ever wedding at 99 Mary St, it was a real beaut, perfectly formed for atmosphere with a brick and steel interior. Run by Nik & Jon, it’s well worth checking out for an industrial Sheffield wedding venue, it will seat around 80 guests I think Foxholes FarmFoxholes farm is the opposite of 99 Mary St, it’s not industrial, it’s very rural but a lesser known Sheffield venue. It’s also right by my house, so it gets a thumbs up from me. They do a small number of Sheffield weddings a year, just 12 I think, but with a large marquee and stunning views over Bradfield it’s hard to beat. And it’s right near Dam Flask reservoir, which makes an awesome backdrop. No photographer knows this location like I do! Another Sheffield beaut which has risen in popularity fast. And another brag that I shot the first wedding photos here, I also love going back. It’s big, you can have a large number of people in this place. If you want an urban Sheffield wedding party, this place ticks the box
The Hide alternative Sheffield wedding venue
This place popped on the scene only recently really and has totally smashed it. I love the hide, it’s got a sort of London wedding vibe to it. Suitable to a couple looking for an offbeat venue, this one in Sheffield could be it. Amazing food too!
Kelham Island Museum wedding Kelham has been going sometime as an alternative Sheffield wedding venue, it was actually possibly the first. I think my first wedding there was back in 2013, they can cater for very large gatherings too. If you want a large Sheffield wedding venue, this could be it
