Morocco wedding photography
This is Metsi and Djibril. Metsi got in touch after finding my work from a previous Marrakech wedding in Morocco, and told me about her dream to do her wedding photoshoot in Morocco. They were already going to marry each other the week previous, in a private traditional ceremony. Metsi is from Ethiopia and Djibril Senegal, so I knew their culturally diverse story would be fascinating.

Their dream was to have their wedding photos in the Moroccan desert, ideally with sand dunes and camels. When we arrived it became apparent that sand would be out of reach and the location of camels was closed for the day of our shoot around Morocco! I’m a camel fan but I’ve always thought that experiencing a place and moment with someone, out weighs details, and being the only one to witness Metsi and Djibril say their vows and promises to each other, in the desert, as the sun went down, was a pretty incredible moment that I think we’ll always remember. We ended the day in Marrakech square at night for a quick portrait shoot and then it was cameras down and time to eat food and talk about our experience that day. Thank you to Riad Magellan for the wonderful stay. It’s a pretty incredible ‘job’
All amazing but the last section out in the desert is incredible! That needs to go up on the studio wall this week!
Insanely Gorgeous!
Wow! Amazing story and great shots.
Well done!
